After our road trip in New Zealand (see above tab) we stopped for some R&R in Fiji.  We stayed for the most part at The Crow's Nest, a quiet little resort that we had read about on the south shore. It was one of those years of El Niño so we had lots of rain and stormy weather but stayed cozy and comfortable in our little cabin nestled in the palms overlooking the reef and beyond that out to sea. Lots of breezy  days walking the beach picking up the odd freshly fallen coconut after a storm.
