The state of Montana lies directly south of Alberta and has been a destination many times over the years. The western part of Montana has spectacular mountains and some interesting history in the many ghost towns left from the mining days of the 1800's. We did several Ghost Town Tours and I have included photos from several of those.  Montana quite often likes to claim Yellowstone as one of their attractions, and they do have several entrances to the park but if you look at the map you see that once you go through the gates you are always in Wyoming! Western Wyoming is beautiful with Yellowstone at the top, The Teton Range below that and Jackson Hole area further south.
